Kelsea Ballerini teases fourth album: Kelsea Ballerini fans are one step closer to hearing her fourth album. The singer took to social media to reveal that she’s finished recording the record. “Drove the PCH and listened to the final mixes of my album today,” she shares, “and now i am going to eat copious amounts of sushi and drown in gratitude for this new little chapter we get to share together so soon.”
Tanya Tucker documentary to open Nashville Film Festival: The Nashville Film Festival is returning to Music City September 29th to October 5th, and will open with a premiere screening of the new documentary “The Return of Tanya Tucker.” The doc, which had its world premiere at SXSW earlier this year, follows the making of Tanya’s 2019 album, “While I’m Livin’,” which was co-produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, as well as her return to the stage.
Reba to reunite with Melissa Peterman for Lifetime movie: Reba McEntire is set to reunite with her “Reba” co-star Melissa Peterman for the new Lifetime movie “The Hammer.” The pair will play sisters in the film, which is inspired by the life of traveling circuit judge Kim Wanker. Also appearing in the film will be Reba’s real-life boyfriend Rex Linn.
Thomas Rett shares adorable photo of youngest daughter: Thomas Rhett is showing off is baby daughter. The singer shared a picture of his seven-month daughter Lillie on Instagram and she couldn’t be cuter. He captioned the photo,” "This child 😎.” Check it out here.
Carly Pearce & Brett Eldredge part of Macy’s Fourth Of July Spectacular: NBC will once again air the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on Monday, and in addition to fireworks from New York City, it will also feature a lot of great performances. Carly Pearce and Brett Eldredge are confirmed to perform this year, as are 5 Seconds of Summer, Pitbull with Filmore, the cast of “Freestyle Love Supreme,” “Moulin Rouge” and more. The special, hosted by “Today’s” Craig Melvin and Dylan Dryer, kicks off at 8 pm.
Tim McGraw to headline “Boots & Brews” music festival: Tim McGraw is set to headline the Ventura, California edition of the “Boots & Brews Country Music Festival.” The festival is set to go down October 14th at Surfer's Point LIVE at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Willie Nelson releasing book about late drummer: Willie Nelson is releasing a new book this fall. "Me and Paul: Untold Tales of a Fabled Friendship" recounts his friendship with his longtime drummer and friend Paul English, who passed away February 11th, 2020 at age 87. The book is due out September 20th.
Maddie & Tae’s Tayler Kerr’s brother in “Stranger Things:” Maddie & Tae have an extra special reason to watch Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” Turns out Taylor Kerr’s brother Mason Dye is in the series this year, playing basketball jock Jason Carver. Maddie shared in CMT Country Countdown, “in my opinion his monologues are the best part of the show but I’m a little biased. He’s family.”
Kane Brown shares giggly video with daughter: It's pretty obvious Kane Brown and daughter Kingsley have a lot of fun together. The singer just shared video of him and Kingsley playing at the sink, and the two-year-old is having so much fun she can't stop giggling. Kane captioned the clip, "My best friend ♥️."
