Cody Johnson isn't one for keeping what he's working on a secret from his fans. Known for giving them plenty of heads up, whether in interviews or with social media teases, fans know what the singer has cooking. For example, he's already revealed he has a new double album ("Leather") coming in a few months, that Carrie Underwood will guest on one track, and that he has another double album of cowboy songs on the way as well. Cody keeps his fans informed.
Earlier this week, Cody revealed that he had a new song on the way - a single titled "The Painter." But Cody's like that dad around Christmas - he can't help but let the kids open a few presents early. To that end, the country star dropped another tease on social media - a video clip of him dancing with his wife, to a snippet of that new single. Along with the clip, Cody posted a little more news: "So August 14th, we have a new single going to radio, it’s called 'The Painter.' This fall, I’m not sure if it will be November or December, the first part of my deluxe album will come out, and I’ve been secretly behind everybody’s back recording a 24-track deluxe album."
