“Billboard” has just come out with their annual year-end lists, with Chris Stapleton landing the honor of Top Country Artist of 2018. This is his second time taking the honor, previously earning the top spot in 2016.

Chris nabbed the title, mostly due to his three albums, 2015’s “Traveller,” and 2017’s “From A Room: Volume 1” and “Volume 2,” all three of which land in the Top Ten on the year-end Top Country Albums chart.

As for other year-end leaders:

  • Thomas Rhett is the Country Airplay Artist of the Year, followed by Luke Bryan, Luke Combs and Kane Brown
  • Luke Combs’ “This Ones For You” is the year’s Top Country Album.
  • Carrie Underwood is the Top Female Country Artist of 2018
  • Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be” is 2018’s Top Country Song
  • FGL is number the Top Country Duo/Group of the Year
  • Jordan Davis is the Top New Country Artist
  • Kane Brown’s “Heaven” is the Country Airplay Song of 2018
