Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile were among the artists on hand to help pay tribute to late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell earlier this week at “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell,” a five-hour concert at The Forum in Los Angeles.
Chris performed Cornell’s “The Keeper” and later teamed with Brandi and Temple of the Dog for the band’s hit “Hunger Strike.” Brandi also joined the members of Soundgarden and Peter Frampton for “Black Hole Sun,” as well as Audioslave’s Tom Morrello and Brad Wilk for “Like A Stone,” which also featured bassist Chris Chaney.
