Chris Janson Lands First Country Airplay Number One

Chris Janson has a new number one song. The singer’s latest single, “Good Vibes,” tops the “Billboard” Country Airplay chart, his first number one on that chart.

“I’m humbled to have a number one hit,” Chris tells “Billboard.” “I’m even more humbled to be able to do this for a living. I feel really blessed, and that’s exactly what ‘Good Vibes’ expresses in song.”

Although this is his first number one, Chris has had for Country Airplay Top Tens, with “Fix A Drink” the highest charting at two, followed by “Buy Me A Boat,” which peaked at three and “Drunk Girl,” which made it to seven. 

Elsewhere on the chart…

  • Luke Combs’ “This One’s For You” once again tops the Top Country Albums chart, the 49th week at number one. It needs just one more week to tie Shania Twain’s “Come On Over” for he longest reign on at number one.
  • Also on the Top Country Albums chart, Cody Jinx’s “After The Fire” debuts at two, with Blanco Brown’s “Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs” debuts at 16.
  • Hootie & The Blowfish’s new single “Hold On,” which was written by Chris Stapleton, debuts at 30 on the Country Airplay chart, their first appearance on a country chart.
