We all know that Carrie Underwood had a really scary fall last November that not only affected her face but also her ability to sign.
The fall and injury caused her to get more than 40 stitches. It also happened right around the time she was recording her sixth album "Cry Pretty."
“I felt like the differences were more in my head than they were in anybody else’s that would listen to the things I was doing. I had wanted to be in the studio sooner than I was, actually recording these songs, but I had stitches inside my mouth, outside my mouth. It was physically impossible,” Carrie said.
Carrie also says it was difficult for her to accept that her injury had an effect on her vocals, but that she’s now come to accept it. In addition to suffering the abrasions to her face, Underwood also broke her wrist.
Carrie is healed and getting ready to co-host the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley on Wednesday.
