Carrie Underwood Returns For Sunday Night Football Opener

As we previously told you, for the ninth year, Carrie Underwood is back performing the opening of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” and the new opening debuted last night.
The opener was shot at Industrial Light & Magic’s LED sound stage with the company’s StageCraft LED virtual production technology which was used in “The Mandalorian.”
The tech is used to make it look like Carrie’s walking into a futuristic looking stadium, and then performing high on a perch in the middle of a crowd.
