As we previously told you, Carrie Underwood kicked off her Las Vegas residency on December 1st and she brought all of the dramatics with her!
Underwood kicked off the show in a shimmering silver dress while singing "Cowboy Casanova."
The show 90-minute consisted not only of costume changes and her hits, but also pyrotechnics! In the beginning her surroundings gave off a futuristic vibe as there was consistent lasers and over-the-top theatrics. The visuals continued to shift as the set changed. For instance, during "Drinking Alone" the stage felt like you were in "The Great Gatsby" and then during "Blown Away," her dancers were very "Cirque Du Soleil" like.
Underwood told her crowd, "We like to get a little dramatic around here" and that may be an understatement!
She performed "Before He Cheats" towards the end of the show, and Underwood shocked crowds by lighting a Jeep on fire during her performance! Her encore was equally as dramatic, where she sang out "Something in the Water" and she was literally the something in the water as she sang on a platform inside an elevated wall that poured water all over her.
Underwood also had six costume changes during her 90-minute show.
