Carly Pearce’s Cat Rules The House

Carly Pearce doesn’t live alone, she actually shares her home with a “spitfire” of a cat, who she named Emmylou after singer Emmylou Harris.
Carly says her cat was a Christmas gift from her parents three years ago, and at first she was a bit shocked by it. She says there’s video of her reaction and her parents thought she hated her, but the truth she says is, “I just couldn’t believe they got me a cat.”
And Emmylou certainly seems to have control of what goes on in the house. Carly says that she rarely wants friends to “get within like 10 feet of her,” but she actually can be “sweet.” Carly notes, “She loves to eat and lay around and she kind of rules the house.”
