Carly Pearce’s latest album “29: Written in Stone” probably wouldn’t have happened had Carly not gone through a particularly tough period of her life where she got divorced, her producer Busbee died and more. But all those tough times helped Carly learn a big lesson.
“I think life experience and the twists and turns of your life really can shape you to be better,” she shares. “I know for me, this season in my life I didn’t understand why I was going through it at the time, but I chose to dive in and really go there.”
She adds, “I think ultimately it has made me a better artist and a better writer and a better woman.”
