Carly Pearce Needed A Break After Writing “29”

Carly Pearce continues to earn accolades for her album “29: Written in Stone,” which was written about a very tumultuous time in her life. Writing about all she went through took a lot out of her, and because of that, once it was over she took a break from writing.
“You know what’s funny, I have not written a song since I finished this album,” Carly says. “I think that I am such a situational writer, and this album took so much out of me emotionally, that I think I’m just stepping away and living a little bit.”
She adds, “And I’m hopeful to see what I write next.”
