Carly Pearce is the subject of a new exhibit at the Kentucky Hall of Fame & Museum. The singer, who was raised in the state, celebrated the launch of the exhibit with a special acoustic performance at the HOF, which included her latest single “Next Girl,” as well as “Every Little Thing" and "I Hope You're Happy Now."
“This is so special to me. I love Kentucky so much, I have the state tattooed on my wrist,” Carly shares. “All I ever wanted to do was sing country music and just to know that I am making my home state proud in a way that I always hoped to, and following in the footsteps of so many people in this Museum makes me very very happy, and just very honored to be here.”
Carly posted a photo from the exhibit on Instagram featuring an dress she wore when she was young. “When I was in 4th grade, I won my school talent show singing “Blue Moon of Kentucky” in this costume my mom made for me,” she shares. “Today, I unveiled my exhibit in the Kentucky Hall of Fame & that costume was part of it. 🥲♥️ So many blessings. I wish I could tell that 4th grader what was coming...”
