Brett Young is set to release his sophomore album “Ticket To L.A.” on December 7th, and now he’s shared the title track with fans. The tune has Brett singing about meeting a girl at an airport, causing him to miss his flight.

"I knew we had to name the album after 'Ticket to L.A.' because that title sums up such a big part of my life," Brett tells “Billboard.” "I’ve spent a lot of hours flying back home to Los Angeles from Nashville. It was a tough season when I first made the move, but so much has changed in my life since then, and I’m in such a happy place.”

He adds, “I think you can feel that shift in the new music too, so I can’t wait for people to hear to the album." Check out “Ticket To L.A.” here and a clip below.

  • Meanwhile, as we previously told you, Brett has been tapped to be brand ambassador for Justin Timberlake's clothing company William Rast, but he admits he didn’t have much experience in front of the camera before he shot his campaign. “I didn’t know what I was doing. Luckily we had a phenomenal photographer,” Brett shares, adding that he “would basically scream instructions at me until I got one of ‘em right and then he told me to sit still until he got the picture he needed.”
