Brantley Gilbert had a lot of ideas about what he would have done had he not made in the music biz. Brantley went to college for two years, and at one point thought about going into law enforcement, but noted, “I looked around at me and my friends and knew that wasn’t an option. “
He also thought about being a relationship counselor because a lot of female friends would come to him with their problems, and he’d “talk ‘em through it,” but he says, “I figured I’d be responsible for more divorces than social media when I really thought about it. So that got exed out.”
In the end, Brantley says that if he didn’t make it in music he could see himself coaching. “I really enjoyed that,” he said. “I got to coach some football where I went to high school, before I left, and I had a good time with that. So I’d say that’s probably a safe bet.”
