As promised, Brantley Gilbert and Lindsay Ell just dropped their collaboration “What Happens in a Small Town,” which Brantley wrote with Brock Berryhill, Josh Dunne, and Rhett Atkins.
The power ballad is the first new track from either artist since 2017, and it certainly seems like fans were anxious to hear the tune. It quickly went to number one on the iTunes country singles chart.
