Brandi Carlile To Be Featured On New John Prine Tribute Album

Another John Prine tribute album is in the works, and we’re already getting our first taste of it. During the GRAMMYs, Brandi Carlile performed John’s last recorded song, “I Remember Everything,” and now she’s released a studio version of it, which will appear on “Broken Hearts and Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, Vol 2.” 

So far there’s no word on who else will appear on the album, or when it will be coming out. The first tribute album, “Broken Hearts and Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine” came out in 2010, and featured covers of Justin Vernon, Conor Oberst, My Morning Jacket, and Drive-By Truckers.
