An all-star quartet came together to record a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” for charity. Blake Shelton sings the vocals with Joe Walsh on guitar, including a solo, and Matt Sorum and Timothy B. Schmit handle the rhythm duties.
The cover was done to support Miraculous Love Kids, a non-profit organization with the mission “to teach the guitar to war-torn, poverty-stricken children, in particular young girls who have little to no rights.” The new cover is available to stream exclusively at Sorum’s Goodnoise.io.
