“The Voice” will return next month without Adam Levine, and while Blake Shelton may have some concerns he knows things will be okay since girlfriend Gwen Stefani will be on the show with him. In fact, he truly believes she’s saving the show.
"You know, when you're a coach on there and trying to navigate and keeping in mind that you are supposed to be entertaining the audience at home, you know, it's kind of a juggling act." Blake shares. "So, having her there, selfishly for me made me happy and I think it kind of saved the show with Adam going away."
Of course that doesn’t mean Blake won’t miss his frenemy Adam. “There’s no way around it. That sucks not having Adam there," he says. "He’s a major part of that show and my favorite person to kick in the nuts."
Season 17 of “The Voice” premieres September 23rd on NBC.
