Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley are being honored by Belmont University. The pair will have a new ballroom named after them in the campus’ Fisher Center for the Performing Arts.
“Brad and Kim together represent so much of what is wonderful about Belmont,” the university’s new president Greg Jones shared. “To paraphrase a song that Brad has sung, ‘When we all get where we are going’ we’ll all be grateful and for the better because we’ve been associated with Kimberly Williams-Paisley and with Brad Paisley.” He adds, “This remarkable facility will long be associated with the legacy of both of their contributions to Belmont.”
In 2019 Brad, Kimberly and Belmont opened the non-profit The Store, providing supplies and groceries to those in need. They also set up an endowed scholarship fund for the school.
“I look around now at what Belmont is doing, and it’s incredible,” Brad shares, “I just want to use us as a school and as a charity to do good things in the world.”
