Bayou Country Superfest announces indefinite hiatus: Louisiana country music fans are going to have to find a new place to catch their favorite artists in concert. Organizers of the 10-year-old Bayou Country Superfest announced the festival is going on indefinite hiatus. The fest usually takes place over Memorial Day weekend. It was initially held in Baton Rouge, moved to New Orleans, and then returned to Baton Rouge.
