Yet another Taylor Swift stalker has been arrested. Eric Swarbrick , a 26-year-old from Austin, Texas, has been busted on federal charges of sending threatening letters to the singer, and also showing up to her Nashville record label.
Swarbrick allegedly hand delivered letters to Big Machine Label Group on several occasions, threatening to harm both himself and the singer. He was arrested on August 2nd, but after being released he continued his letters, as well as emails.
His official charges include interstate stalking and sending interstate communications with the intent to threaten, and he’s currently in custody in Texas but will be extradited to Tennessee.
- ONE MORE THING! Taylor’s boyfriend Joe Alwyn had made his first comments about his relationship with the singer, although he didn't say much. “I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” he tells British Vogue. “I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work.”
- And…Taylor has asked a judge to throw out a lawsuit brought by a computer consulting company called SwiftLife. The company claims they trademarked the name SwiftLife in 2008, and says Tay’s Swift Life app infringes on their business. Taylor is arguing that company’s trademark only covers repair services, and not phone apps, and that nobody is confusing the shop with her app.
