ABC Celebrates CMA Summer Jam

Country fans finally got a chance to see what folks in Nashville got to enjoy earlier this summer when CMA Summer hit the Ascend Amphitheater. ABC aired a three-hour highlight show of the-two day fest last night, and it was filled with some stand out performances. 

Highlights included Blake Shelton and wife Gwen Stefani performing “Happy Anywhere,” with Blake introducing her as Gwen Stefani Shelton. He also performed hitsv“Boys Round Here,” "God's Country," and "Minimum Wage." Carrie Underwood performed “Last Name,” "Church Bells" and was joined by Dwight Yoakam for “Guitars Cadillacs,”and  “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere.”  Miranda Lambert, who performed her own songs “Settling Down,” "Kerosene," and "Tequila Does," teamed with Brothers Osborne and Dierks Bentley for the Allman Brothers classic “Midnight Rider.” Dierks also returned to perform “Gone” and his latest single “Beers On Me” with BRELAND.

Some of the other performances included: Luke Combs gave the crowd what they wanted with hits like “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” "Forever After All," and "Cold as You,” Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rhett teamed for “Round Here,” with Thomas also performing “Country Again,” "What's Your Country Song," and "Crash and Burn" and Luke Bryan performed his latest number one “Waves,” along with "Down to One," and "Country Girl (Shake It for Me),”and teamed with Cole Swindell for “Single Saturday Night.”

The show also featured performances by Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Eric Church, Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker, and Laney Wilson. Check out clips to the right.
