Tim McGraw & Jake Owen Join Alabama At Bridgestone Arena Show

Alabama kicked off their 50th Anniversary tour with two nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena this weekend, and they were joined by very special guest Tim McGraw. The shows were the first full-capacity Bridgestone shows since the pandemic closed down concerts in March, 2020.

Ahead of his July 2nd appearance Tim shared some backstage footage noting, “It’s been 482 days since they’ve had a concert at Bridgestone Arena…I’ve never seen Alabama live. I know every song off of every album. I could probably do the whole show.” He added, “I’m getting onstage with them tonight. This is the first time I’ve ever seen them in concert and I get to go onstage.”

Tim then wowed the crowd by joining Alabama for thir 1983 song “Lady Down on Love.”

  • And Tim wasn’t the only guest Alabama had join them. The next night Jake Owen came out, joining Alabama for the same song. "Dreams come true," Jake shared.  "Thanks to my favorite band of all time, Alabama, for inviting me out to sing one of my favorite songs of all time…not to mention in the heart of Nashville at a sold out Bridgestone Arena show."
