One of Riley Green's favorite hangouts is the famous Flora-Bama Bar on the Florida/Alabama state line. The waterfront bar and grill has live music 365 days a year, and was named the best beach bar in the country by Playboy, among others. Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffett even wrote songs about it. It's definitely a country star's kinda place.
Riley Green loves what he does - he's a performer. So put him in the crowd at a bar known for live music, more often than not he jumps on stage and plays with whatever band is there that night. And, ordinarily, you'd see him do one of his own tunes, or perhaps a classic country tune everyone knows. But sometimes not.
Friday night, Riley did what Riley does, jumped on stage - but stunned the crowd with an out-of-left-field cover version of...Afroman? The rapper, most known for his hit "Because I Got High," got the country treatment courtesy of Riley - on the Afroman cut "Colt 45." So what does that sound like? Check it out here.
