It's been an incredible year for Oliver Anthony. From obscurity to viral sensation, he became a new dad and his new-found popularity has led to him rubbing elbows with country stars like Jamey Johnson. 2024 looks like it's going to be just as epic for the young singer from Virginia.
On Instagram this weekend, Anthony revealed that he was working hard on his first real album. "Have been in the woods lately writing some songs and petting some dogs. Will be recording my first official album in January," he posted with a picture of some autumn foliage. And in case fans thought he might be getting a big head, he added that the sound and the approach wasn't going to change much. "Going to be recording outdoors, much like the RadioWv session videos you've seen popping up on YouTube recently, but with a few other instruments added." Something to look forward to in the new year!
