Morgan Wallen's "One Thing At A Time" Bows At #1

Morgan Wallen's album "One Thing At A Time" landed hard, taking the top spot on both the Top Country Albums chart - and the Top 200 Album chart (which covers all genres).

Moving over 500K units in equivalent album sales in the week since its debut, the album has generated the biggest one week sales numbers for any album in 2023. It’s also the biggest since Taylor Swift’s "Midnights" debut with 1.578M in November 2022 and the largest week for a country album since Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) opened with 604,500 in November 2021.

A few final notes: The album had the fifth-largest streaming week ever for an album; Morgan is the first male artist with back-to-back country No. 1s on the Billboard 200 since 2019, when Thomas Rhett did it 2017-2019; Wallen has the largest week for any country album by a male artist since the Billboard 200 began tracking by equivalent album units in December of 2014. In fact, only one country album has posted a bigger week in that span of time - Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version).
