Charlie Worsham isn't famous. He was a member of Old Crowe Medicine Show, has played in Dierks Bentley's touring band, and as a solo performer, had two minor hits ten years ago: "Could It Be" and "Want Me Too," which most people don't remember.
While solo success has been elusive, his songwriting career has been much more impressive, and over the last decade-plus, Charlie has written for - and made friends with - some of the bigger movers and shakers in Nashville. And some of those folks are joining Charlie on his next solo project.
Titled "Compadres," his next solo album will feature guest appearances by Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Kip Moore and Luke Combs, who shows up on a reworking of Charlie's 2013 track, "How I Learned To Pray," which dropped yesterday. The rest of the album comes out October 13.
