Luke Bryan Lands His 22nd Number One

Luke Bryan has a new number one under his belt. The singer’s “What Makes You Country” tops the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart this week, making it his 22^nd number one single.

Luke wrote the song with Dallas Davidson and Ashley Gorley, and says the tune perfectly describes his Georgia upbringing.

He notes, “I would say definitely it starts with my small-town upbringing and how we were raised; church on Sundays as much as we could, but [also] just enjoying life and living life in a small town.”
