LAINEY WILSON SETS NEW YORK STATE FAIR ATTENDANCE RECORD
Featured Content
Lainey Wilson is about as southern as it gets: born and raised in Louisiana before moving to Nashville to make her country dreams come true. So it's interesting to see how well her music and personality play north of the Mason-Dixon line. Wednesday night we got a great example of her universal appeal.
Headlining the New York State Fair (just a few miles from Syracuse, New York), Lainey brought in 53K people to see her show. That didn't just set a new attendance record, it destroyed the previous record, which saw 43K fans come to see hip hop star Nelly perform.
