Lady Antebellum Lands First Number One Since 2014

Lady Antebellum has a new number one. The band’s latest single, “What If I Never Get Over You,” tops the “Billboard” Country Airplay chart. It’s the band’s 10th number one and their first since 2014’s “Bartender.”

“The feeling of having a No. 1 song on country radio never gets old,” Hillary Scott tells the mag. “We knew ‘What’ was special the first time we heard it, …We are so grateful that writers Sam, Jon, Ryan and Laura shared their incredible song celebrate our 10th No. 1 with them.”

The band’s five-year-and-four month break between Country Airplay number ones is the longest wait for a chart topper since last May when Eli Young Band broke a five-year, four-month wait with “Love Ain’t.”

Elsewhere on the chart:

  • Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours,” featuring Justin Bieber tops the Hot Country Songs chart for a 14th week. It also tops the Country Streaming and Country Songs Sales chart.
  • “10,000 Hours” is also at five on the all-genre “Billboard” Hot 100.
