Carly Pearce Drops Video For “Closer To You”

Carly Pearce has just dropped the video for her latest single “Closer To You,” and it features a cameo by fiancé Michael Ray, who plays her lover in the clip.

“It’s no secret that I want my fans to experience this exciting journey alongside me – from awards, tours and even my special relationship with Michael [Ray],” Pearce shares. “As the lyrics say, ‘all I wanna do is get closer to you,’ and that really rings true for me.” Check out the video above.

While things are certainly going well in the love department, thanks to her engagement to Michael, Carly isn’t exactly expecting a huge romantic gesture tomorrow for Valentine’s Day. Carly says that “any time you can celebrate love is wonderful,” but she doesn’t think it’s necessary to have a day set aside for your partner to make you feel special. She notes, “I think you should feel special every day.”
