Amy Grant Hospitalized After Bike Accident

Amy Grant is recovering in a Nashville hospital after a bike accident on Wednesday. The “Baby, Baby” singer had cuts and abrasions, but was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital and will be released today. She was listed in stable condition. A spokesperson confirms that she was cycling with a friend, helmet on, when she fell.

The accident comes two years after Grant had open-heart surgery to correct a then recently discovered defect she had all of her life. Now, her husband, Vince Gill, has canceled several upcoming shows so he can be with his wife. The shows in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Tysons, Virginia aren’t expected to be rescheduled.
