As we told you, funeral services for Charlie Daniels will be held today in Tennessee, and the state will honor the singer with quite a gesture. 

While the 55^th Annual ACM Awards aren’t scheduled to take place until September, the Academy of Country Music is already making plans for 2021.

There are certainly a lot of great country artists out there, but for Brett Young he doesn’t see them as competition.

Aubrie Sellers is set to release her new EP “World on Fire” on August 7^th, and she just shared one of the songs that will be on it, a cover of the Chris Isaak classic “Wicked Games.”

Blake Shelton is following in Garth Brooks’ footsteps and putting on a drive-in concert for fans. The Encore Live drive-in concert will take place July 25^th, and will feature girlfriend Gwen Stefani and Trace Adkins.

Margo Price’s third album, “That’s How Rumors Get Started,” drops Friday and she’s found a unique way to promote it, while helping out local businesses in Nashville.

Zac Brown Band held a “4th With The Family” livestream over the weekend to benefit Zac’s Camp Southern Ground and raised a ton of dough. The band raised $1.4 million for the camp, which supports U.S. military veterans and helps them return to civilian life.

Raelynn just shared a new single. The tune, “Me About Me,” is set to appear on her upcoming EP, “Baytown,” which drops August 14^th.

ACM is giving fans something new to do on Wednesday nights. Starting tomorrow they’ll launch the new weekly series “Wine Down Wednesdays,” which will feature a variety of female country artists.

Legendary entertainer Charlie Daniels died yesterday at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee from a hemorrhagic stroke. He was 83. Daniels, known for his fiddle playing, had his biggest hit with the 1979 GRAMMY-winning tune “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” which actually went to number three on the “Billboard” Hot 100.

Jason Aldean recruited his family for the video for his latest single, “Got What I Got.”  The clip features Jason and wife Brittany, along with their two kids, 16-month-old Navy Rome and two-and-a-half-year-old Memphis, and was filmed in their Destin, Florida home, where the spent their quarantine. 

This was another big weekend for new country music, with both Chris Young and Billy Currington releasing new tunes.

Jason Isbell was one of the artists who contributed to the soundtrack of “A Star Is Born,” and over the weekend he shared what his contribution sounded like before Bradley Cooper put his vocals on it. 

Some of your favorite country stars helped folks get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July this weekend, performing on the new “iHeartCountry Fourth of July BBQ” special. The show, hosted by Bobby Bones, featured performances by Kane Brown, Lauren Alaina and Old Dominion, with the artists also sharing some of their favorite Fourth of July memories.

Brett Young has spent a lot of Fourth of July holidays at the beach. He says he’s spent every Independence day in Newport Beach, which is right next to where he grew up and it was always a lot of fun.

As we previously told you, “Good Morning America” recently announced their virtual summer concert series, and now they’ve revealed the entire schedule. 

Rumors continue to swirl about an impending marriage between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, with the latest claiming they are planning to wed sometime this summer.

As we previously told you, Runaway June announced that singer Natalie Stovall would be replacing departing singer Hannah Mulholland. Well, now we are finally getting to hear what the new trio sounds like. The all-girl group just released their new single, “We Were Rich.” 

Midland is holding a celebrity yard sale of sorts. The band has teamed with online gear-swapping site Reverb to auction off guitars, pedals, amps, and more used on tour and in the studio.
