Luke Bryan fans are going to have to wait a little longer for his new album and upcoming tour.

John Prine has sadly lost his battle with the coronavirus. As we told you before, John’s wife Fiona revealed last week that he was in the ICU in “critical” condition due to the virus, and now his family has confirmed that he passed away yesterday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 73. 

As we told you, soul legend Bill Withers died last week, and now Sheryl Crow is paying tribute to him with a cover of “Lonely Town, Lonely Street,” which she recorded with Citizen Cope. 

As we previously told you, Thomas Rhett recently released the star-studded single “Be A Light,” featuring Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott, and Chris Tomlin. And while the song is perfectly suited for what’s going on today, Thomas actually wrote it last year. 

As we told you, singer Joe Diffie died last month after testing positive for the coronavirus, and now Chris Young has paid tribute to the singer in song.

The ACM Awards were supposed to go down last night in Las Vegas, but the coronavirus caused them to be delayed until September. But that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some great country music to enjoy.
