Chris Stapleton’s new album “Starting Over” dropped Friday, and it includes the tune “Maggie’s Song,” which is a tribute to Chris' dog, who passed away in 2019 at 14. 

The 2020 E!’s People’s Choice Awards went down last night, with Blake Shelton winning the honor of Country Artist of 2020, beating out fellow country artists  Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett.

Carrie Underwood is already in the holiday spirit, thanks to her recently released holiday album “My Gift,” and she’s sharing some of her favorite holiday traditions with “People.”

As we told you, Eric Church talked about how music will be the thing that saves the world during his Entertainer of the Year acceptance speech at the CMA Awards, and now he’s elaborated a bit more on what he means by that.

As we told you, Clint Black and wife Lisa Hartman Black were revealed to be the Snow Owls on Fox’s “The Masked Singer,” and their time on the show has actually inspired a new song.  The tune is called “Till The End of Time” and will be released to streaming services on December 3^rd.

CMA will once again help folks get into the Christmas spirit with their annual “CMA Country Christmas” special, which this year will be hosted by Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins.

The 54^th Annual CMA Awards went down in Nashville last night, with Eric Church walking away with the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy, his first-ever win in that category. In his speech Eric noted that this year for him has been about the “loss of this year,” including the loss of life, playing shows and more. “The win is we’re all here tonight, together as country music, in person, live,” Eric shared, adding, “it’s gonna be music that brings us out of this. That is the one thing that is gonna save the entire world," noting, “Politicians are about division, music is about unity.”
