HOW TO NOT BE A TERRIBLE PERSON AT THE GROCERY STORE

  • Grocery shopping is something most of us have to do, and the experience is full of opportunities for people to decide to be their best or worst selves.
  • One of the most obvious is returning your shopping cart to its rightful place, either in a cart corral in the parking lot or back to the front of the store, when you’re finished using it.
  • Other ways to actively choose not to be a jerk at the supermarket include hanging up the phone while shopping, staying on task in the checkout line and not coming in to start your shopping 10 minutes before the store closes.
