Carly Pearce Attended CMAs With Boyfriend; Reflects On Her Big Win

As we told you, Carly Pearce had a pretty great night at the CMA Awards winning her Female Vocalist of the Year for the very first time. And she didn’t have to celebrate the happy occasion alone.

Carly brought along new boyfriend Riley King as her date, and cameras even caught them kissing as she went to accept her award.

Riley is a former MLB star who played for the Kansas City Royals from 2013 to 2016, and currently works in real estate. Unlike her previous relationship with country star, and ex-husband Michael Ray, Carly has been keeping this relationship more private, although earlier this month Riley did post a photo with Carly as they were watching the World Series, noting, “Thank goodness my girlfriend is much cooler than me 😜.” 

• ONE MORE THING! Carly took to Instagram to reflect on her big win Wednesday night. “I woke up this morning realizing last night wasn’t a dream,” she wrote. “You dream, you pray, you wonder if you’ll ever get there…. Country Music, you are what has made me feel understood since I was a little girl in Kentucky blaring @patty_lovelessofficial @trishayearwood @dollyparton and so many others from my bedroom.” She added, “I will never forget last night and the HONOR you gave me. FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE FREAKING YEAR!!!! ♥️😭"
