Americans’ Most Common Fears Include Snakes, Heights & More

A new YouGov survey finds, among a list of 30 possible fears, snakes came out as the most common fear amongst Americans. Overall, 30% of Americans say they have a fear of snakes, followed by heights (28%) and spiders (24%) Only 9% of folks look at their fears as fully irrational, while 21% say they are somewhat irrational and 26% insist their fears are rational. 34% of people who say their fears are irrational admit they interfere with their daily lives.

Parts Of Yellowstone Set To Reopen

  • Parts of Yellowstone are set to reopen this week after flooding destroyed entire roads, bridges, and houses in the area.
  • Officials say that beginning tomorrow, the park's south loop will have limited service.
  • On that note, the park is implementing an "alternating license plate system." Odd ending license plates on odd days of the month, and vice versa for plates ending in even numbers.
