Thomas Rhett is holding a very special album release party for his latest record, “Center Point Road” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Saturday as part of CMA Fest.
Thomas says he was looking for a new way to celebrate the album’s release, since with his last record, "Life Changes," he performed three concerts in three cities in one day, noting, “That just about killed me.”
The event is going to have Thomas performing five or six songs from the record, in “like a super broken down, like power acoustic kind of way,” and he’ll share some stories behind the songs, and do a little Q&A with fans.
Thomas says if he were a fan going to say an Eric Church album release event that’s the kinda stuff he’d want to hear, adding, “so I’m trying to do that same thing that I would want as a fan, for my fans.”
