Scotty McCreery Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of Becoming “Dad”

Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi became parents on October 24th with the birth of their son Merrick Avery, and he’s giving fans a peek behind the scenes at the entire process of becoming a dad in the video for his single “It Matters To Her,” sharing personal photos and videos.
The scrapbook in the video ends with a pic of newborn Merrick, who’s named after Gabi’s father and will go by his middle name, Avery. McCreery wrote “It Matters To Her” with Rhett Akins and Lee Thomas Miller, and has said that it came about just as he was wrapping up recording on his fifth album, “Same Truck.”
