Carly Pearce and Michael Ray tied the knot recently and now we've learned that the star-studded wedding wasn't without hiccups.
Carly says that for months she planned her outdoor dream wedding under a romantic canopy of trees. Everything was fine until mother nature took over. A massive rainstorm hit the area on the day of her wedding and she knew that plans were about to change.
She talked with the venue and they were able to relocate into a beautiful barns on the largevenue property. As it turns out, it couldn't have been more perfect for the couple.
The ceremony was officiated by Bill Cody, a country radio DJ and announcer on the Grand Ole Opry, while Pearce and Ray both read vows they’d written themselves.
The guest list included 100 close friends and family. Included on that list was Jake Owen and he was invited to sing for the couple’s first dance. Ray said that Owen “crushed it” singing his ballad “Made for You” for the first dance, which Ray cried through.
And if that wasn't perfect enough, after a night of dancing to DJ AYDAMN, who tours with Dierks Bentley, the party moved on to the Nashville Palace honky-tonk which was the site of the newlyweds’ first date. They continued the party until the early morning hours.
