Midland got a chance to open for Garth Brooks last month in Pittsburgh, and Jess Carson says the show was “absolutely insane.” Thanks to a thunderstorm delaying the show an hour they got to play in front of 75,000 people, with Jess noting, “It was nuts."
Jess adds that Garth was “just so gracious,” and they even got to hang with him during soundcheck, which he says was “one of the coolest parts of the whole thing for me.” Jess shares, “he’s playing ‘The River’ and ‘Thunder Rolls’. He’s like going through all these songs. You know, I’m just like standing right next to him. It’s crazy.”
