Luke Combs, Among This Year’s CMA Triple Play Award Winners!

Winners of the 11thAnnual CMA Triple Play Awards were just announced, including Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and more.

The awards are handed out to songwriters who write three number one songs within a 12-month period. Other songwriters earning honors this year include Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and Dan Smyers, and Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey, as well as Ross Copperman, Justin Ebach, Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley, Michael Hardy, Jon Nite, Josh Osborne, Bobby Pinson, Jordan Reynolds, and Trevor Rosen.

Meanwhile, Gorley got way more than just one Triple Play Award. In fact, he was honored with three for penning nine number-one songs in the past year, including Luke Bryan’s “What Makes You Country,” Dierks Bentley’s “Living,” Thomas Rhett’s “Remember You Young” and more.
