Jimmie Allen Reminds Fans To Get Off Socials And Check In On IRL People

Jimmie Allen is reminding fans that IRL is more important than socials. The singer’s been a big mental health advocate and took to Twitter this week saying “Check in on your friends. Social media is not a way to find out how people are doing. People are really struggling, it has just gotten easier to hide it.”

Fans quickly praised the “Down Home” singer with comments like “You are so right!! We need to check on our friends and family more often. Life is too short to just assume one is alright” and “This is so true. It’s very easy to go into depression when you can’t get out much. You don’t really understand until it happens to you. TY.”

Jimmie has been open about the constant work on his bipolar disorder. He previously shared “I am happy a lot of the time, but a lot of the time, I’m not. We all struggle.”
