Jelly Roll was at the Country Music Association where he engaged in a little Q&A with fans called "CMA Live," fielding questions about his music, the music he's listening to and what his favorite tattoo is.
First, he responded to a question about his song "Save Me," which he explained was like a "cry for help." He was so unsure of the song, and it was so different from what he usually recorded, that he asked fans if it should even be on his next album. He also answered the question of about what his favorite tattoo is - of which he has many. "The cross on my face," adding that there is a biblical scripture about taking up one's cross and bearing their burdens, and he thinks of that every time he looks in the mirror.
Finally, a fan asked what songs or artists Jelly has on repeat. "I've been just banging the new Tyler Childers song ("In Your Love") - it's crazy...Lainey Wilson's 'Watermelon Moonshine', right now I've listened to so many times I'm embarrassed to admit it."
