Bailey Zimmerman Shares The Best Advice Morgan Wallen Gave Him
Featured Content
Bailey Zimmerman is one of the hottest new artists on the country music scene: his first single hit #1, his second is Top 5 - so it would be understandable if the young star thought he had a handle on this country music thing.
It may be a quick start, but Bailey knows that to make a go of it long-term, it's wise to listen to those that have forged successful careers. His new friendship with touring partner Morgan Wallen gives him a great resource for career advice - the do's and do not do's. Recently Zimmerman shared the one piece of career advice that he plans on taking to heart.
"One day, Morg told me, ‘I’ve only ever canceled one show. I’ve played shows no matter what. This is the reason you do this. You’ve got to work really hard,’ Bailey says. "I’ve been trying to focus on that. Even if you’re sick, you’ve got to put on a performance because these people have paid to come and watch a good show. That’s one of the biggest things I’ve taken from him so far, but I’m sure there will be more lessons learned."
He's got plenty of time to absorb those lessons; starting next Wednesday the two are globetrotting on Morgan's "One Night At A Time World Tour" that will take them through 63 dates at 30 stadiums, plus arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals across four countries and two continents.
