Singer Forrest Frank is addressing his claims of a miracle by posting medical imaging of his injured back. The Christian artist fractured two vertebrae in his back during a skateboarding accident on July 19 and was bedridden and in excruciating pain for days, saying he expected to be dealing with the effects of the injury perhaps for months. Yet just two weeks later, he woke up pain-free â and subsequent X-rays revealed the fractures were gone, he said.
Frankâs claims of a miracle sparked celebration by fans but pushback by some on social media.
This week, Frank shared a video on Instagram reviewing CT scans he had picked up from his medical office, highlighting the fracture. The scans were proof of the injury, he said.
âThat looks fractured,â he said, pointing to the CT scan from his initial visit on July 19.
âDid we see a miracle? Was it just an insane, rapid recovery?â Frank asked.
The Your Wayâs Better singer was quick to acknowledge that âI am not a radiologistâ and asked medical professionals on his Instagram account to comment.
Frank fractured his L3 and L4 vertebrae, two critical bones in the lower spine that bear much of the bodyâs weight and enable movement.
Several medical professionals on his timeline said they were surprised he no longer has pain.
âWhen I first heard you say in one of your videos, âhoping to be moving around more by the end of the week,â I thought, ânooo please donât push too hard so you can heal optimally!â I expected you to be out for a while ⊠When I shouldâve expected a miracle,â a chiropractor wrote. âThis healing is miraculous. Praise the Lord!â
Another chiropractor wrote: âPraise God for healing you brother! Would be awesome to see updated imaging to see if God has âonlyâ taken the pain away or if the break is gone as well. Either way, God gets the glory. And we are all blessed by your music and testimony!â
Several medical professionals noted that only a CT scan could confirm whether the fracture is fully healed -- but said itâs unnecessary now that he is pain-free.
âThere could be some healing to be done, so take it easy. Praise God for your healing!â a third person wrote.
Others asserted that even a rapid recovery is a miracle.
âSo, even if it was a fast recovery, isnât it still for the glory of God for creating our bodies to heal like that?â an individual wrote. âAll bodily healing comes from God one way or another.â
Frank recorded two songs while recovering: Godâs Got My Back and Lemonade.
